England’s experienced batsman Tammy Beaumont, Ireland’s young player Amy Maguire and UAE’s excellent all-rounder Isha Ojha have been included.
The International Cricket Council has announced the nominees for ICC Women’s Player of the Month ‘September’ today i.e. on 7th October. This list includes the experienced batsman of England, the young player of Ireland and the deadly all-rounder of UAE.
Let us tell you that England’s experienced batsman Tammy Beaumont, Ireland’s young player Amy Maguire and UAE’s best all-rounder Isha Ojha have been included.
Tammy Beaumont (England)
This experienced batsman had batted brilliantly for England in the month of September. Tammy Beaumont scored 212 runs at an average of 106 in the three-match ODI series in the Ireland tour. Because of his excellent batting, England won the three-match ODI series 2-1.
Not only this, Tammy Beaumont had scored 67 runs in the two-match T20 series. In the second match of the ODI series played against Ireland, Tammy Beaumont scored 150 runs in 139 balls, due to which she received the Player of the Match award and England also won.
Amy Maguire (Ireland)
Ireland’s young player Amy Maguire bowled well in the white ball series against England and took a total of 12 wickets in 5 matches. His bowling was highly praised by many people.
Let us tell you that Amy Maguire took 5 wickets for 19 runs against England in the third ODI match played in Belfast and also won the Player of the Match award. Not only this, because of his deadly bowling, Ireland defeated England.
In the two-match T20 series, he took a total of 5 wickets and completely devastated England’s batting lineup.
Isha Ojha (UAE)
The month of September was great for UAE’s best all-rounder Isha Ojha. He played an important role in his team’s victory not only with the bat but also with the bowling in the triangular series against Namibia and Zimbabwe.
Isha Ojha, while batting against Zimbabwe, played an explosive inning of 84 runs in 65 balls, due to which UAE won the match by 5 wickets.
Not only this, UAE’s lethal all-rounder had scored 42 runs against Namibia and also took three wickets. In this triangular series, he scored 209 runs at an average above 34 while taking 8 wickets at an average of 14.50.
