The International Cricket Council (ICC) revealed the second batch of shortlisted players for the ICC Awards 2023. There are many players who performed very well in international cricket in the year 2023 and that is why they have been included in this list.

Indian team’s young batsman Shubman Gill has been included in the ICC Men’s Batting Rankings 2023. Shubhman Gill has scored 1584 runs in 2023. Not only this, he won the ICC Men’s Player of the Month Award twice.

Along with Shubman Gill, his team also has Virat Kohli in this race, who performed very well in the ICC Men’s Cricket World Cup 2023. He scored 6 centuries in ODIs in the year 2023. Experienced fast bowler Mohammed Shami is also included in this list. Mohammed Shami has taken a total of 43 wickets in ODIs in the year 2023. Shami was the highest wicket-taker in the ICC Men’s Cricket World Cup 2022. New Zealand’s Daryl Mitchell is also in this list. He has also batted very well for New Zealand in the year 2023.

Women players also performed well

Many all-rounders are included in the list of ICC Women’s ODI Cricketer of the Year. England’s experienced all-rounder Nat Sciver Brunt has once again been included in this list. In the year 2023, he had scored three centuries in ODIs. Sri Lankan team captain Chamari Atapattu has also been included in this list.
