ICC has released the latest rankings of Test players on Wednesday after the end of India vs Bangladesh Test series. India’s fast bowler Jasprit Bumrah has again become the number one Test bowler. He is at number one with 870 rating points. He has left behind veteran spinner Ravichandran Ashwin, who is at second place with 869 ratings. India’s star cricketer Virat Kohli has returned to the top-10.
Virat Kohli has jumped six places to reach sixth position in the list of batsmen. Virat currently has 724 rating points. Young opening batsman Yashasvi Jaiswal has also benefited after this Test series. He has gained two places. Yashasvi is at third place with 792 rating points.

Talking about others, Bangladesh’s Mehdi Hasan (up four places to 18th) and experienced spinner Shakib Al Hasan has moved up five places to 28th. Sri Lankan spinner Prabhat Jayasuriya (801) achieved the highest rating of his career. He is jointly at number nine. He performed well in the Test series against New Zealand. Jayasuriya won the Player of the Series award by taking 18 wickets in that series.
India’s star cricketer Virat Kohli has returned to the top-10 in the list of batsmen. He scored 47 runs in the first innings of Kanpur Test and 27 not out in the second innings. He was out of the top-10 after his poor performance in the Chennai Test. England’s legendary batsman Joe Root (899) is at number one in the ranking of batsmen. New Zealand’s Kane Williamson (820) is at the position.
