Kagiso Rabada topped the Test bowling rankings with 860 rating points.
ICC Test Rankings: Kagiso Rabada has become the number-1 bowler in the ICC Men’s Test bowling rankings, overtaking Indian fast bowler Jasprit Bumrah. Rabada had shown a brilliant performance in the first match of the ongoing Test series against Bangladesh, for which he has been rewarded. Rabada took three wickets in the first innings and 6 wickets in the second innings. Kagiso Rabada also took his 300th Test wicket during the first Test against Bangladesh. He is the third fastest South African bowler (11817 balls) to achieve this feat.

Kagiso Rabada reached the first position in the ICC Test bowlers’ rankings for the first time in 2018. He remained at number-1 position till February 2019. The thing to note is that Rabada has been continuously in the top-10 in the rankings recently. After taking 9 wickets against Bangladesh, he left behind Jasprit Bumrah, Josh Hazlewood and Ashwin and secured the first position with 860 rating points. Josh Hazlewood (847) is at second place, Bumrah (846) is at third place and Ashwin (831) is at fourth place.
Pakistani spinner Noman Ali reached 9th place
On the other hand, Pakistan’s spin bowlers Noman Ali and Sajid Khan have also benefited, who recently performed brilliantly in the Test series against England. Noman Ali took 11 and 9 wickets in two matches, Sajid took 9 and 10 wickets in two matches. Noman Ali achieved a career-high ranking of 9th. While Sajid has jumped 12 places to reach 38th position.
