Rahul also did not get a chance in the T20 series of Zimbabwe and Sri Lanka tour, which clearly indicates that the management no longer sees him as a T20 format player.

However, former Indian player Dodda Ganesh believes that KL Rahul can still make a comeback in the shortest format of the game. However, Rahul needs to change his intent.

Dodda Ganesh tweeted on social media and wrote,

If KL Rahul improves his approach in T20, he can still make a comeback and perform well for the Indian team in T20 Internationals. He is such a good talent that he will be missed for a long time.

KL Rahul scored 520 runs at a strike rate of 136.13 while playing for Lucknow Super Giants in IPL 2024.

The Indian team is currently on a tour of Sri Lanka. After winning the T20 series, the team is now ready to play the ODI series from August 2 under the captaincy of Rohit Sharma.
