Former England fast bowler Stuart Broad has appealed to the Indian selectors that Delhi Capitals captain Rishabh Pant should also be included in the upcoming T20 World Cup 2024. Rishabh Pant’s performance in IPL 2024 has been very good. So far, he has scored 210 runs for Delhi at an average of 35 and strike rate of 156.71.

When he played this shot, I felt that now he too should be in the T20 World Cup team. He is ready and also desperate to make a comeback in international cricket.

Stuart Broad further said, ‘Rishabh Pant was away from cricket for a long time. But in IPL 2024, he is captaining as well as wicket-keeping. Not only this, Rishabh Pant is also batting at numbers three, four and five. I would also like to see him play as an impact sub player for some matches. This is because the workload on them is very high and this will also put pressure on them. Rishabh Pant is a match winner and if I were a selector, I would have definitely selected him as my wicketkeeper in the Indian team for the World Cup.
