Aakash Chopra is not happy with the return of Sanju Samson to India’s T20I team.
Afghanistan’s tour of India 2024, IND vs AFG: Former Indian opening batsman and cricket commentator Aakash Chopra (Akash Chopra) by KL Rahul (KL Rahul) has expressed his disappointment at being dropped from the Indian cricket team for the upcoming three-match T20I series against Afghanistan.
Aakash Chopra said that despite the poor performance in the ICC T-20 World Cup 2022, Team India captain and opening batsman Rohit Sharma (Rohit Sharma) was given a chance to make a comeback, then why was KL Rahul not selected.
Let us tell you, Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli have returned to India’s T20I team after almost 14 months, which is a clear indication of their playing in the upcoming T20 World Cup 2024.

Meanwhile, Aakash Chopra asked BCCI and Indian selectors what wrong KL Rahul did that he was not selected in Team India for the T20I series against Afghanistan, but suddenly Rohit Sharma Rohit Sharma, Virat Kohli and Sanju Samson have been given a chance.

Aakash Chopra said on his YouTube channel: “When you want to go back to your senior players, then what is KL Rahul’s fault? If you are making the team on the basis of performance in the last T20 World Cup, then both Rohit and Rahul did not perform well. Both are in the same boat. After that, if we look at the previous ODI World Cup, both Rohit and Rahul have performed well.
What are Sanju Samson and Shubman Gill doing in the T20I team?
Then both names should have been in the T20I team. Rahul still remains in the lower order and bats. So you could feed him there also. Well, Rahul is not in the team, but Rohit has been selected. Virat Kohli is also making a comeback. The interesting thing is that for the last one year you did not even want to keep Virat and Rohit in the T20I team. But now suddenly both are back.
