Tight security arrangements have been made for the match due to a major incident before the second Test between India and Bangladesh in Kanpur. In fact, 20 members of the Akhil Bharatiya Hindu Mahasabha blocked the road near the stadium and performed a havan in protest against the alleged mistreatment of Hindus in Bangladesh. This is why the police have now made a full-proof plan before the game.

Let us tell you that the names of the miscreants have been registered and among the registered names are Rakesh Mishra, Vikas, Atul, Jaideep, Vikas Gupta, Prashant Dheer, Ajay Rathore, Ashish, Brajesh and about 10 other unknown names.

Talking about Bangladesh, there is a very bad time going on there too. Minority students in Bangladesh have led protests, after which there has been political turmoil in the country. Before the second Test, Kanpur Additional Commissioner of Police (Law and Order) Harish Chander said that the police force, including senior rank officers, is fully prepared to provide security for the event.

According to TOI, ACP Harish Chander said, ‘We are trying to improve security even more. We can completely confirm that the players of both the teams will not face any problem here and strict security arrangements will be made.’

FIR has been lodged under sections of BNS: Shravan Kumar

District Police Commissioner (East) Shravan Kumar Singh has been made the nodal officer for security of India and Bangladesh games. He said that Green Park Stadium and Hotel Landmark have been divided into sectors, zones and sub zones. These areas and sectors will be looked after by DCP, Additional DCP and ACP rank officers.

Shravan Kumar said, ‘An FIR has been registered under sections 189 (2) (unlawful assembly), 191 (2) (rioting), 223 (disobedience to order promulgated by public servant) and 285 (obstructing or causing hurt to any person in public) of the BNS.’
