Stumps have been declared due to rain on the second day of the match.
Currently a two-match Test series is being played between India and Bangladesh (IND vs BAN). So the second match of this series is being played at Green Park Stadium in Kanpur from 27th September. But today’s game could not start due to rain.
So due to heavy rain, the umpires have announced the stumps of the second day’s play. But meanwhile, players of the Indian cricket team were seen playing footvolley in the team hotel in case the match was not held due to rain.
Let us tell you that the photos of Indian players playing footvolley have been shared by former Indian player and Dinesh Karthik, who is playing the role of commentator in the ongoing Test series, on his social media account. On the other hand, if we tell you the condition of this match, only 35 overs were played on the first day of the game. Also, due to rain on the second day, not a single over could be played. However, if BBC Weather reports are to be believed, there is a possibility of rain till the afternoon of the third day of the game. Apart from this, light rain may also be seen on the fourth day, but the weather is likely to remain completely clear on the fifth day of the game.
Now it will be interesting to see when the ongoing Test match between India and Bangladesh in Kanpur is going to start. However, seeing the rain, it is unlikely that the match will be able to start in the coming two days.
