Team India’s batsmen hit fours and sixes in Hyderabad on Saturday, 12 October 2024, on the occasion of Dussehra. Especially Sanju Samson and Suryakumar Yadav unraveled the threads of Bangladeshi bowlers. Samson scored a century and Surya played a half-century. Ryan Parag and Hardik Pandya also scored at a fast pace. This match was very historic for Team India, because the team scored 297 runs after losing 6 wickets in 20 overs.

In response, Bangladesh team could not even reach 198. Many records were made in this match, but here we will talk about those 5 big records which are being discussed the most in this match.

IND vs BAN: These five big records were made in the third T-20 match

1. The record of scoring 10 or more runs in the maximum number of overs in the match has now been registered in the name of Team India. India scored more than 10 runs in 18 overs against Bangladesh. At the same time, before this, Australia scored more than 10 runs in 17 out of 20 overs against Sri Lanka in the year 2016.

2. India has made a world record in scoring more than 200 runs in an innings in T20 cricket. Somerset has scored 200 runs in an innings 36 times, while Team India has achieved this feat for the 37th time in international cricket.

3. Team India made the second highest score in T20 International cricket. Nepal had scored 314 runs against Mongolia in 2023 and now India scored 297 runs against Bangladesh. This is a world record for Team India as a Test playing nation.

4. Suryakumar Yadav has made a record for India as captain. They have won T20 International matches twice by more than 100 runs, whereas under the captaincy of Virat Kohli, Hardik Pandya, KL Rahul and Shubman Gill, India has won the match once each by a margin of 100 or more runs.

5. The wicketkeeper batsman for India scored a century for the first time in T20 International cricket. Sanju Samson played an inning of 111 runs. Whereas, Ishan Kishan had scored 89 runs as a wicketkeeper.

Border-Gavaskar Trophy will start from 22nd November Mitchell Starc (Image Credit- Twitter X) Before the much-awaited Border-Gavaskar Trophy Test series between Australia and India (AUS vs IND), Australian team fast bowler Mitchell Starc has made headlines. It is noteworthy that the first match of this series will be played at Perth Stadium from 22nd November. So, before this match, in a practice session of the Australian team, Starc was seen practicing with a special kind of ball. The ball with which Starc is practicing is red on one side and white on the other. According to cricket experts, this type of ball helps the bowler a lot in maintaining hand-eye balance. By practicing with this type of ball, Starc can gain control over the late movement swing in the match. The pitch curator of Perth Stadium recently said that some grass is expected to be left on the pitch, due to which the fast bowlers can prove to be effective in the match. Perhaps this is the reason why Starc is practicing with a special type of ball before this match to take advantage of this weakness of India. However, this move by Australia could serve as a double-edged sword, as the current Indian team has a lot of bowlers who can work their magic in swing conditions. So if we tell you about Starc’s performance in Test cricket in the year 2024, he has bowled in 10 innings, in which he has taken a total of 27 wickets at an average of 32.25 and strike rate of 49.60. Apart from this, his average in Test cricket against the Indian team is 35.84. However, now it will be worth watching whether Starc is able to reduce his average against Team India in the upcoming series or not?
