According to Rule 36.2.2 related to LBW out, if during LBW out any such situation is found in which the ball hits the bat and the pad simultaneously, then in this situation it will be considered to have hit the bat first.

But the decision to give Ravindra Jadeja out was not changed, because he had already been given out by the on-field umpire. In case of confusion, the decision of the on-field umpire remains final.
