England’s Test tour of India 2024, IND vs ENG: Indian cricket team’s experienced fast bowler Umesh Yadav (Umesh Yadav) has once again been overlooked for national selection despite being in great form in the ongoing Ranji Trophy 2024.

In fact, the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has today announced the squad for the remaining three matches of the five-match Test series against England on February 10. BCCI and Indian selectors have included Bengal fast bowler Akash Deep in Team India for the first time, bypassing Umesh Yadav.

Meanwhile, after BCCI announced the Indian team for the remaining three Test matches against England, Umesh Yadav has expressed his disappointment by sharing a cryptic post on Instagram Story. Umesh Yadav wrote on his Insta story – ‘Stories do not end when dust collects on books’ and added an emoji of a finger cross.

This post clearly shows that the Indian fast bowler has not given up and has directly targeted the Indian team management and selectors, showing his strong will to return to Team India. However, the Indian team management has clearly expressed that they now want to try new players, as they have not even considered the in-form Cheteshwar Pujara for selection.
