IND vs ENG 2nd Test: India had to face defeat on the spin track of Hyderabad. England defeated the host team by 28 runs. India has been invincible on home soil. They have lost only three Test matches since 2013, including the Hyderabad Test. It was expected that India would dominate in the first test, but England’s baseball game spoiled the whole equation.

The visiting team was reduced to just 246 runs in the first innings and then it seemed that the road was going to be difficult for the English team. But Ollie Pope’s brilliant play in the second innings put them ahead in the match. In the end the match was in the name of England. Ollie Pope was adjudged player of the match for his excellent batting.

The second test match will be played at Dr. YS Rajasekhara Reddy ACA-VDCA Cricket Stadium in Visakhapatnam. Things are not going to be easy for India in this match. Virat Kohli is already missing from two test matches. At the same time, the latest injuries of KL Rahul and Ravindra Jadeja have increased India’s problems. Both players have been ruled out of the second test.

England announced their playing XI on Thursday afternoon after Jack Leach was ruled out with a left knee injury, including the inclusion of Lancashire spinner Shoaib Bashir, who will make his Test debut. The host team has given importance to spin and with this Anderson has replaced Wood.
