IND vs ENG, 3rd Test: Rohit Sharma: In the third match of the Test series against England, Team India registered a spectacular victory by 434 runs. Team India had put 445 runs on the board in the first innings on the strength of century innings by Rohit Sharma (131) and Ravindra Jadeja (112). The England team was all out for 319 runs in the first innings. Ben Duckett had scored the highest 153 runs for the team. Siraj took maximum 4 wickets in his name, while Ravindra Jadeja and Kuldeep Yadav took 2-2 wickets.
India declared the second innings at 434 runs. Yashasvi Jaiswal (214*), Shubman Gill (91) and Sarfaraz Khan (68*) scored runs. England were all out for 122 runs while chasing the target of 557 runs. The England team was looking brilliant initially in the first innings. But then on the third day of the game, the Indian bowlers made a brilliant comeback and the visiting team was all out for 319 runs. Chasing 557 runs to win was challenging, but the Indian bowlers did not give any hope to England. Ravindra Jadeja took 5 wickets in the second innings, while Kuldeep Yadav took 2 wickets.
After the match, captain Rohit Sharma was seen praising the bowlers. Speaking at the post-match presentation, Rohit Sharma said, ‘There is class in our bowling, the message was to remain calm and I am really proud of the way we came back the next day. When these things happen, there is happiness.

Indian youth Yashasvi Jaiswal is looking in great form. Yashasvi was out for 10 runs in the first innings of the third Test. But then in the second innings he scored 214 runs in 236 balls with the help of 14 fours and 12 sixes. This is also the second double century of Yashasvi Jaiswal’s career.
Talking about Yashasvi Jaiswal, Rohit Sharma said, ‘I have spoken a lot about him, even in Vizag, people outside the changeroom have also spoken. I don’t want to talk too much about him, he has started his career brilliantly, I want him to continue performing well, he is a good player.
