Indian team is in a strong position after the end of play on the third day of the fourth test
The Indian team is in a strong position after the end of play on the third day of the fourth Test against England. Chasing the target of 192 runs in the fourth innings, the host team has scored 40 runs without losing any wicket. Openers Rohit Sharma (24*) and Yashasvi Jaiswal (16*) are present at the crease.
England came into play with a lead of 46 runs in their first innings, but Ravichandran Ashwin ruined their plans and took five wickets for 63. He got good support from Kuldeep Yadav. Kuldeep took 4 wickets for 22 runs. In this way England’s second innings was reduced to 145 runs. Jack Crawley (60) was the top scorer of the English team.
Before this, Dhruv Jurel (90) and Kuldeep Yadav (28) started the innings again. Both of them made a partnership of 76 runs and took India’s score beyond 250. James Anderson broke this partnership by bowling Kuldeep. However, Jurel continued his brilliant batting and made a crucial 40-run partnership with Akash Deep (9).
But unfortunately Jurrell was out to Tom Hartley and missed his first Test century. In this way India was all out for 307 runs.
Take a look at the highlights of Day 3 of IND vs ENG 4th Test

Brilliant to see so many youngsters doing well. Rinku Singh has been exceptional in limited overs cricket and Yashasvi Jaiswal has been brilliant in Test cricket. Dhruv Jurel being mighty impressive, Sarfaraz having a good beginning to his career and Akash Deep showing some…

When it comes to hype, one of the least hyped guys is Kuldeep Yadav.
Been exceptional for many years, but never got an online fan club or people to hype him as the next big thing. Deserves a lot more credit and hype than he gets. pic.twitter.com/DWiH8Hy4Di— Virender Sehwag (@virendersehwag) February 25, 2024
