IND vs ENG, 5th Test Day 2 Highlights: The last match of the five-match Test series between India and England is being played in Dharamshala from March 8. After winning the toss and coming to bat first, the England team was all out for 218 runs in the first innings. Kuldeep Yadav took 5 wickets, while Ashwin, playing his 100th Test, took 4 wickets.

By the end of the first day, Team India had scored 135 runs at the loss of 1 wicket in the first innings. Today, on the second day, Team India was seen batting brilliantly, by the end of the second day the team has put 473 runs on the board at the loss of 8 wickets, India has also taken a lead of 255 runs.

Rohit Sharma and Shubman Gill scored centuries

Team India had a great start in the first innings on the first day, with a partnership of 104 runs for the first wicket between Yashasvi Jaiswal and Rohit Sharma. Yashasvi Jaiswal was out to Shoaib Bashir after scoring 57 runs. By the end of the first day, Rohit Sharma was present at the crease with 52* runs and Shubman Gill with 26* runs.

Today, on the second day, both the batsmen continued their brilliant game and completed centuries. Captain Rohit Sharma played an inning of 103 runs in 162 balls with the help of 13 fours and 3 sixes. This is the 12th century of Rohit Sharma’s Test career and his fourth Test century against England. Rohit Sharma lost his wicket against Ben Stokes in the 62nd over of the innings.

Whereas Shubman Gill played an inning of 110 runs in 150 balls with the help of 12 fours and 5 sixes. Shubman Gill became the victim of James Anderson in the 63rd over. There was also a strong partnership of 171 runs for the second wicket between Rohit Sharma and Shubman Gill.

Sarfaraz and debutant Devdutt Padikkal also played brilliant innings

After Rohit Sharma and Devdutt Padikkal, Sarfaraz Khan and Devdutt Padikkal also showed their brilliant game. There was a partnership of 97 runs between the two for the fourth wicket. Sarfaraz Khan played an inning of 56 runs in 60 balls with the help of 8 fours and 1 six. Sarfaraz Khan lost his wicket against Shoaib Bashir in the 85th over. Whereas debutant Devdutt Padikkal scored 65 runs in 103 balls with the help of 10 fours and 1 six.

Devdutt Padikkal was also out by Shoaib Bashir. Ravindra Jadeja (15), Dhruv Jurel (15) and Ravichandran Ashwin (0) returned to the pavilion cheaply. By the end of the second day, Kuldeep Yadav is unbeaten at the crease on 27* and Jasprit Bumrah on 19*. Shoaib Bashir took 4 wickets for England. Whereas Tom Hartley has taken 2 wickets and Ben Stokes has taken 1 wicket.
