Jack Leach suffered a knee injury while fielding on the first day of the first Test match. His injury worsened while fielding on the second day. Jack Leach was also seen wearing a bandage on his knee. In the second innings, he bowled 10 overs and also took one wicket.

Jack Leach may be out of the second test match due to knee injury. According to BBC report, Jack Leach did not bowl in the nets during the practice session on 31 January. After which it has become almost clear that Jack Leach will not be a part of the playing 11 in the second test match.

Shoaib Bashir may get a place in the playing 11

The England cricket team would like to enter the second test match with a strong spin bowling line-up. Due to which the team will ignore players like James Anderson and Ollie Robinson and choose a spinner as the replacement for Jack Leach.
