Gill was out after making 23 in 66 balls.
Former Indian captain and opener Sunil Gavaskar has been seen quite angry over the manner in which Indian batsman Shubman Gill was dismissed in the first Test match between India and England in Hyderabad. Let us tell you that Gill, who worked hard on the first day of the match, gave his wicket as a gift to the bowler of the opposing team on the second day of the game.
Gill was dismissed by spinner Tom Hartel in the first session on the second day of the match, which was also his maiden Test wicket. Gill wanted to play a fast shot towards leg south on the 5th ball during the 35th over of the Indian innings, but the ball did not connect properly with the bat and he was caught out at mid-wicket.
After this, Sunil Gavaskar, who was a part of the commentary panel, gave a tough class to the young batsman Shubhman Gill. Gavaskar said during the commentary – what kind of shot he was trying to play. Looking at this shot, how can anyone understand whether he wanted to play it in the air, or it was just a dirty on-drive. He worked hard to score big, but then played that kind of wrong shot.

So if we tell you about Shubman Gill, Gill, who has proved himself in white ball cricket, is continuously struggling to score runs in the longest format of the game.
Apart from a few half-centuries, an inning of 91 runs at Gabba Brisbane and centuries against Bangladesh and Australia, he has not been able to show much success in this format. However, now it has to be seen whether he gets more opportunities from Team India in this format or not?
