The fifth match of the five-match Test series between India and England has started in Dharamshala. The second day’s play between the two teams ended and by the end of the second day’s play in its first innings, India had scored 473 runs after losing 8 wickets.

On behalf of the Indian team, all the batsmen batted very well on the second day of the game. Talking about England, the team batted very poorly in its first innings of this match and they were all out for 218 runs. Zak Crawley batted very well for England in the first innings and played an important inning of 79 runs.

However, apart from the experienced opener, no other player could score big. For India, Kuldeep Yadav took five wickets in the first innings while Ravichandran Ashwin took four wickets. Ravindra Jadeja took one wicket in his name.

On the second day of the game, captain Rohit Sharma and young player Shubman Gill played excellent century innings for the Indian team. Apart from these two batsmen, Yashasvi Jaiswal, Sarfaraz Khan and Devdutt Padikkal scored important half-centuries.

1- Shubman Gill scored an excellent century in Dharamshala Test.

Indian team’s young batsman Shubhman Gill batted very well on the second day of the fifth Test and scored 110 runs in 150 balls with the help of 12 fours and five sixes. Shubman Gill did not spare any of the England bowlers and hit hard against all of them.

James Anderson took the wicket of Shubman Gill in the fifth test. The young batsman made an important partnership of 171 runs with Indian captain Rohit Sharma for the second wicket.

2- Devdutt Padikkal scored his first half-century in his debut test.

Indian team’s young batsman Devdutt Padikkal made his international Test debut in the fifth Test being played against England. He scored a half-century in his Test debut itself.

Devdutt Padikkal scored 65 runs in 103 balls with the help of 10 fours and one six in the first innings of the fifth Test. Devdutt Padikkal’s batting was praised by many people.

3- Sarfaraz Khan played an excellent shot on the fast ball of Mark Wood.

Sarfaraz Khan batted very well for the Indian team in the Dharamsala Test and played an important inning of 56 runs in the first innings with the help of 8 fours and 1 six in 60 balls.

Sarfaraz Khan also played an excellent shot against England’s fast bowler Mark Wood which went viral on social media.
