In the fifth Test match played in Dharamsala, India defeated England by an innings and 64 runs. In this match, all the players from the Indian team performed very well and played an important role in the victory of their team.

Batting first, England scored 218 runs losing all the wickets in their first innings. Zak Crawley contributed 79 runs in the first innings for England. Whereas for India, in the first innings, Kuldeep Yadav took five wickets while Ravichandran Ashwin took four wickets.

After this, India scored 477 runs after losing all the wickets in its first innings. Captain Rohit Sharma played an inning of 103 runs while Shubman Gill scored 110 runs. Yashasvi Jaiswal, Sarfaraz Khan and Devdutt Padikkal scored important half-centuries for India. Even in the second innings, England failed to bat well and were all out for 195 runs.

India’s experienced all-rounder Ravichandran Ashwin and England’s Jonny Bairstow created history in the Dharamsala Test. Both these players have played 100 test matches.

3- James Anderson completed 700 test wickets

Experienced fast bowler James Anderson has completed 700 wickets in Tests. He accomplished this feat in Dharamshala.

4- Brilliant century by Rohit Sharma and Shubman Gill

Indian team captain Rohit Sharma and young batsman Shubman Gill scored excellent centuries in the first innings of the fifth test and took India to a big score.
