Because a lot of runs would be scored on this pitch. Considering my dismissal against a very young and inexperienced bowler on this wicket, one must be wondering how I got myself out here.

Kevin Pietersen further said that the shot that got Rohit Sharma out in the second Test was not in a hurry and was very lazy. Rohit Sharma had scored 63 runs in the first test match. The team had high expectations from him in the second test match, but he could not give his best today.

Talking about the match, after the dismissal of Rohit Sharma, Shubman Gill and Shreyas Iyer also flopped. Shubman Gill (34) and Shreyas Iyer (27 runs) were able to score. Rajat Patidar showed some aggression, but lost his wicket against Rehan Ahmed for (32) runs. Yashasvi Jaiswal has scored a century.
