Ravichandran Ashwin is the 9th bowler to achieve this feat. He is the second bowler from India who has taken 500 or more wickets in Test cricket. Apart from Ravichandran Ashwin, only Anil Kumble has achieved this feat from India. Anil Kumble has taken 619 wickets in Tests.
