Indian all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja has made a big achievement during the third Test being played against England in Rajkot. He registered his name in the record books by taking the first wicket in England’s first innings and achieving 500 first-class wickets. With this Jadeja made another record in his name.

He also completed his 200 Test wickets on Indian soil. He has now joined the category of greats like Anil Kumble (350), Ravichandran Ashwin (347), Harbhajan Singh (265) and Kapil Dev (219). Ravindra Jadeja started his first-class career in 2006 and till now has taken 501 wickets in 224 innings of 125 matches.

Apart from the ball, he showed amazing skills with the bat.

Let us tell you that Jadeja has shown excellent performance not only with the ball but also with the bat. He played an important role in taking India to 445 runs in the first innings. After the initial setbacks, Jadeja pulled Team India out of trouble by making a partnership of 204 runs with captain Rohit Sharma.

During this, the star all-rounder scored his fourth Test century. He played an innings of 112 runs in 125 balls, which included nine fours and two sixes. With this, Jadeja became the 15th Indian to score 1000 Test runs against England, leaving behind former Indian captain Sourav Ganguly.

At present the Indian team appears to be in a strong position in the match. After England’s first innings was bundled out for 319 runs, the host team got a huge lead of 126 runs. Ben Duckett played a brilliant inning of 153 runs for England. Apart from this, Ben Stokes contributed 41 runs and Ollie Pope contributed 39 runs. Mohammad Siraj took maximum 4 wickets for India.
