Virat Kohli was able to score only 9 runs in 9 balls against England in the semi-final match
IND vs ENG, Virat Kohli: The second semi-final match of the T20 World Cup 2024 was played between India and England at the Providence Stadium, Guyana on 27 June. Indian opener Virat Kohli could not show anything special with the bat even in an important match like the semi-final. He lost his wicket against Reece Topley in the third over of the innings.
On the second ball of the third over bowled by Reece Topley, Virat Kohli hit a huge six towards mid-wicket. He was able to take two runs on the third ball. But then Topley bowled him on the fourth ball of the over. Kohli wanted to hit a shot towards mid-wicket again, but missed and the ball went straight and hit the stumps.
