Due to bad light on the fourth day of the first Test between Team India and New Zealand, Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli were seen continuously arguing with the umpire. Both these players were unhappy as to why the game was stopped.

However, Team India made a great comeback and scored 462 runs after losing all the wickets in its second innings. From the host side, young batsman Sarfaraz Khan batted brilliantly and scored 150 runs with the help of 18 fours and three sixes. Not only this, Rishabh Pant also supported him well and played an inning of 99 runs.

Both of them did not spare any New Zealand bowler and continuously hit hard against all of them. Not only this, Virat Kohli also contributed 70 runs while captain Rohit Sharma scored 52 runs. New Zealand needs 107 runs to win this match. However, on the fourth day of play, only four balls could be bowled in New Zealand’s second innings.

After this the field umpire checked the light situation. The field umpire felt that the game could not be played further in this light. However, Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli looked unhappy with this decision of the field umpire. He appealed to the field umpire that a few more overs could be bowled but the result was not in favor of the hosts.

New Zealand needs 107 runs to win the match

The fifth day of the game is going to be exciting for both the teams. While on one hand Team India would like to all out New Zealand as soon as possible, on the other hand the target of Kiwi team will be 107 runs.
