After winning the T20 series against Sri Lanka 3-0, Team India will now be eyeing to win the upcoming ODI series. The first match of the three-match ODI series will be played tomorrow (2 August) at the R Premadasa Stadium in Colombo. Before this match, the biggest headache for captain Rohit Sharma will be whether Rishabh Pant should be selected in the playing eleven as a wicketkeeper or should he stick with KL Rahul?

Meanwhile, before the match, captain Rohit Sharma has given a statement on this. He has said that it is a good thing to have such a problem. He also told who he would choose as wicketkeeper batsman for this match.

Captain Rohit Sharma, while answering this question in the press conference before the match, said how would he choose between KL Rahul and Rishabh? He said, “It is a difficult decision. Both of them are excellent players. You know the capabilities of both the players. When you have such quality, it is not easy to choose a team or player. Both these players are like that. They are match winners on their day. They have won many matches for us in the past.”

Captain Rohit further said, “It is always good to have problems in selecting a team like this. You know, when you discuss a lot about who to choose and who not to, it means that there is quality in the team. So I think it is a good thing to have such problems and I wait for such problems as long as I am the captain.”
