Nitish Kumar Reddy won the Emerging Player title in IPL 2024
IND vs ZIM 2024: Team India is currently a part of the T20 World Cup 2024. Rohit Sharma and company are going to face England in the semi-final match tomorrow (27 June). After the conclusion of the T20 World Cup, the team is going to be busy in bilateral series. Team India is going to play a five-match T20 series in Zimbabwe tour from July 6. Shubman Gill is going to lead the team in this tour.
Four IPL star players have been included in the squad for the Zimbabwe tour, which also included Sunrisers Hyderabad’s young player Nitish Kumar Reddy. But he has been ruled out of the tour due to injury. Shivam Dubey, who is currently playing the T20 World Cup, has been included in the squad in place of Nitish. BCCI has officially informed about this.

Sharing the official information about Nitish Kumar Reddy’s exclusion from the Zimbabwe tour, BCCI wrote,
Mains The selection committee has named Shivam Dubey as a replacement for the injured Nitish Reddy in the Indian team for the upcoming tour of Zimbabwe.

Nitish Kumar Reddy won the Emerging Player title in IPL 2024 by showing excellent performance with ball and bat for Sunrisers Hyderabad. He got a place in the national team due to his excellent performance in the season. Nitish will be under the supervision of the BCCI medical team. After the Zimbabwe tour, Team India is also going to tour Sri Lanka. If Nitish Reddy becomes fit by then, he can get a place in the squad.
