In the Women’s T20 World Cup 2024, an explosive match will be played on 6th October between India Women and Pakistan Women in Dubai. Under the captaincy of Fatima Sana, Pakistan made a strong start to the tournament. The team defeated Sri Lanka by 31 runs in the first match. The team would like to maintain its form against India also.

Meanwhile, Pakistan captain Fatima Sana has given a big statement regarding the upcoming match. Fatima says that the team is not at all under pressure regarding the match against India.

We will try to remain calm- Fatima Sana

Pakistan captain Fatima Sana while speaking at the pre-match press conference before the match against India said,

“There is no pressure, because there will be a crowd there and the atmosphere will be like this, so there will be a little pressure on the girls. But we will try to remain calm and not take too much pressure. When we take pressure, it does not go in our favor. We will try to remain calm and handle the situation as best we can.”

I didn’t know whether I would be able to hit or not – Fatima

Fatima Sana had scored 20 runs in 30 balls in the match against Sri Lanka and took the team’s total to 116. Fatima has improved a lot in her batting and she is very keen to do power hitting in the upcoming matches, she further said,

“If you look at the last series against South Africa, a lot of our girls have improved in power hitting. In that series, our team had hit six sixes in a match. After that, we hit eight sixes. It’s a good thing that all the girls believe in it. Personally, I used to bat a lot earlier, but I didn’t know whether I would be able to hit or not. But now with this confidence, it has become much easier.”
