India became the champion of T20 World Cup 2024, snatched victory from the jaws of South Africa in the final


India defeated South Africa by 7 runs in the final match of ICC T20 World Cup 2024.

India defeated South Africa by 7 runs in the final match of ICC T20 World Cup 2024. In this match, all the players from the Indian team performed very well and played an important role in the victory of their team. The Indian team was the winner of the final of ICC T20 World Cup 2024.

Let us tell you, batting first, India scored 176 runs for the loss of 7 wickets in 20 overs. The team’s start was not so good and they lost three wickets for just 34 runs. Captain Rohit Sharma was out after scoring 9 runs against South Africa while Rishabh Pant could not even open his account. Suryakumar Yadav also could not play a big innings and returned to the pavilion after scoring three runs.

However, after the fall of three wickets, experienced batsman Virat Kohli and Akshar Patel batted very well and made a crucial partnership of 72 runs for the fourth wicket. Both of them did not spare any bowler of South Africa and attacked everyone hard. Akshar Patel played a valuable innings of 47 runs in 31 balls with the help of 1 four and 4 sixes in this match, while Virat Kohli scored 76 runs in 59 balls with the help of 6 fours and 2 sixes.

The best thing about Virat Kohli’s innings was that he batted brilliantly even after the wicket of Akshar Patel fell and took his team to a big target. Shivam Dubey contributed 27 runs. For South Africa, Keshav Maharaj took two wickets for 23 runs in three overs while Enrique Nokia also took two wickets.

India won ICC T20 World Cup 2024

South Africa did not have a good start while chasing the target and they lost two wickets for just 12 runs. Reeza Hendricks was out after scoring four runs while captain Aiden Markram also returned to the pavilion after scoring four runs.

The best batsman from the team, Heinrich Klaasen, played a stormy innings of 52 runs with explosive batting. However, the brilliant batsman failed to make his team win. Quinton de Kock scored 39 runs while David Miller returned to the pavilion after scoring 21 runs. Tristan Stubbs played an innings of 31 runs.

For India, Hardik Pandya took three wickets for 20 runs in three overs while Jasprit Bumrah and Arshdeep Singh took two wickets each.
