The ICC T20 World Cup 2024 is starting from June 2. However, currently the Indian Premier League 2024 is being played in India and many players from all over the world are participating in this important tournament. The final match of the Indian Premier League 2024 will be played on May 26 and after that the Indian team will start practicing vigorously for the upcoming T20 World Cup.

Let us tell you, there are many players of England who will not be able to participate in the remaining matches of IPL 2024. Actually, England has to play a T20 series against Pakistan and for this reason many players have left IPL 2024 and returned to their country England. There are many English players including Jos Buttler, Phil Salt, Will Jacques who will not be seen playing in the remaining matches of IPL 2024.

Former Indian spinner Harbhajan Singh has given his stand regarding this. According to Harbhajan Singh, the Board of Control for Cricket in India should keep the schedule as per the plan of the England Cricket Board. Harbhajan Singh told Hindustan Times, ‘I think with this IPL schedule it will be very difficult for everyone to play some matches together. But the good thing is that our first two matches are in America.

Yes, I think in America we should have played four or five matches against top teams like England and Australia so that we could understand the situation better. But this time it will not happen.

It is very important for the team to play together for 10 to 15 days: Harbhajan Singh

Harbhajan Singh further said, ‘But now we have to understand the small window of two matches that we have. When you are participating in a big tournament like the World Cup, it is very important for the team to play together for 10 to 15 days. This will make your game better.

Let us tell you, the Indian team will play its first match of the ICC T20 World Cup 2024 against Ireland on June 5. The Indian team is in Group A along with Canada, Ireland, Pakistan and USA. The Indian team will be captained by Rohit Sharma while vice-captain Hardik Pandya has been appointed. There are many good players in the team and everyone would like to perform well in the upcoming tournament.

Finn praised him a lot and even said that he is the best player in the world. Speaking with former England captain Alastair Cook on TNT Sports, Steven Finn said, “Jaiswal scored a brilliant 161, but he is the player I like to watch. That is Jasprit Bumrah. I think he really is the best player in the world. Honestly, sometimes I think bowling like him is a joke! You see him bowling and you just think, I’m glad I don’t have to come out to bat.” He further said, “I was surprised that India went there (Australia) and defeated Australia, where usually it is very difficult to go and play cricket. Perth, I know it’s not the WACA; I know it’s a new stadium, but still, historically, Australia hasn’t lost many matches there. I thought India performed very bravely there.” Let us tell you that, Bumrah now has 118 wickets in 27 Test matches in SENA countries at an impressive average of 22.55, which also includes his career best performance (6/33).
