Indian players dominated the best T20I XI of 2023!
The International Cricket Council (ICC) today on January 22 announced the ICC Men’s T20I Team of the Year 2023 (ICC Men’s T20I Team of the Year for 2023), in which many young players have been selected. Indian players dominated the best T20I XI of the year 2023, as four players made it to the team, while not a single player from Pakistan and Australia could make it to it.

On the other hand, two players from Zimbabwe – Sikandar Raza and Richard Ngarawa, one from Ireland – Mark Adair, one from West Indies – Nicholas Pooran, one from England – Phil Salt, one from New Zealand – Mark Chapman and one from Uganda – Alpesh Ramjani. Made a place in ICC’s Best T20I XI of 2023. Suryakumar Yadav was the third highest run scorer last year with 733 runs, but he had the highest strike rate.

The Indian batsman had also crossed the mark of 2000 runs in international cricket in 2023. Meanwhile, the highest wicket-taker of the year 2023 was Alpesh Ramajani, he took 55 wickets last year. He became the first player to take more than 50 wickets in a single calendar year in T20I cricket.

At the same time, Arshdeep Singh, Ravi Bishnoi and Yashasvi Jaiswal also performed well in this format. Bishnoi became the world number-1 T20I bowler, while Yashasvi Jaiswal performed brilliantly at the top order, while Arshdeep Singh bowled very impressively in the powerplay and death overs.
