International Cricket Council will announce the winners of ICC Awards 2023 from Monday


First, the Men’s and Women’s T20I Teams of the Year will be announced on January 22.

The International Cricket Council is going to announce the winners of the ICC Awards 2023 from Monday. Voting was held for this and after which the cricketers who received the award have been selected. It featured media representatives and fans from around the world voting for the men’s and women’s international cricketers from the previous calendar year.

The five Team of the Year awards will be revealed on Monday and Tuesday, followed by the announcement of 13 individual award winners on Wednesday and Thursday. The Rachael Heyhoe Flint Trophy for the ICC Women’s Cricketer of the Year and the Sir Garfield Sobers Trophy for the ICC Men’s Cricketer of the Year will be awarded.

First, the Men’s and Women’s T20I Teams of the Year will be announced on January 22. Then on Tuesday 23 January the Men’s and Women’s ODI teams as well as the Men’s Test Team of the Year will be announced. All five teams have been selected by an independent panel of media representatives who form the ICC Voting Academy.

After the Team of the Year, individual awards will be given on the basis of performance between January 1 and December 31, 2023. The winners will be determined based on votes cast by the ICC Voting Academy and hundreds of thousands of global cricket fans who registered their choices on the ICC website icc-cricket.com.

The Associate, T20I and Emerging Cricketer of the Year will be announced on Wednesday, January 25. The Umpire of the Year, Men’s and Women’s ODI Cricketer of the Year, Men’s Test Cricketer of the Year, Hayhoe Flint Trophy Winner, Sir Garfield Sobers Trophy Winner and Spirit of Cricket Awards will be announced on Thursday 26 January.
