IPL 2024, SRH vs MI: The 8th match of IPL 2024 was played between Sunrisers Hyderabad and Mumbai Indians. Mumbai Indians captain Hardik Pandya won the toss and decided to bowl first. Sunrisers Hyderabad, batting first, put 277 runs on the board at the loss of 3 wickets, which is the highest total in IPL history. Chasing the target, Mumbai Indians could only score 246 runs at the loss of 5 wickets, and Sunrisers Hyderabad won by 31 runs.

SRH vs MI: Batsmen batted brilliantly

The pair of Mayank Agarwal and Travis Head gave a good start to Sunrisers Hyderabad. There was a partnership of 45 runs between the two batsmen for the first wicket. Chasing 278 runs, Mumbai Indians could only score 246 runs and Hyderabad registered a resounding win. For Hyderabad, captain Pat Cummins took 3 wickets for 35 runs in 4 overs. There were 2 wickets in the name of Jaydev Unadkat and 1 wicket in the name of Shahbaz Ahmed.
