Today i.e. on 22nd April, the best match of the Indian Premier League 2024 will be played between Rajasthan Royals and Mumbai Indians at Sawai Mansingh Stadium in Jaipur. Both the teams would definitely like to win this match. However, before this important match, former Australia captain Aaron Finch has presented his side regarding out-of-form players Hardik Pandya and Yashasvi Jaiswal.

Let us tell you, Hardik Pandya was injured during the ICC ODI World Cup 2023. However, Hardik became completely fit before the Indian Premier League 2024 and that is why he is playing in this tournament. Not only this, Hardik Pandya is also captaining Mumbai Indians in IPL 2024. Mumbai team has appointed Hardik Pandya as its captain this season in place of Rohit Sharma.

The experienced all-rounder has so far scored 141 runs in 7 innings this season at an average of 23.50 and a strike rate of 146.88. Not only this, he has taken only four wickets in bowling. Talking about Yashasvi Jaiswal, his performance has also been quite disappointing in IPL 2024. Yashasvi has scored only 121 runs in 7 matches at an average of 17.29. His highest score this season has been only 39 runs.

Finch told Star Sports, ‘My eyes are on two players in this match. Yashasvi Jaiswal and Hardik Pandya. Both these players have failed to show good performance so far this season. There is a lot of pressure on both these players and I think the spotlight will also be on them. T20 World Cup is also coming very soon.

I will definitely keep my eyes on these two players: Aaron Finch

Aaron Finch further said, ‘So I think Hardik and Yashasvi would like to get back to their great form. One can definitely be selected but I feel that if both the players are to be included in the Indian team then they will have to make significant contribution. India would also like to win another T20 World Cup and that is why I will definitely keep my eyes on these two players. This is going to be a very good match.

Rajasthan Royals team has so far won 6 out of 7 matches while they have lost one. All the players from the Rajasthan team have performed well so far and now Yashasvi will also have to play an important role in the victory of his team.

I think he really is the best player in the world. Honestly, sometimes I think bowling like him is a joke! You see him bowling and you just think, I’m glad I don’t have to come out to bat.” He further said, “I was surprised that India went there (Australia) and defeated Australia, where usually it is very difficult to go and play cricket. Perth, I know it’s not the WACA; I know it’s a new stadium, but still, historically, Australia hasn’t lost many matches there. I thought India performed very bravely there.” Let us tell you that, Bumrah now has 118 wickets in 27 Test matches in SENA countries at an impressive average of 22.55, which also includes his career best performance (6/33).
