IPL 2024: After a long gap of 12 years, KKR gave a crushing defeat to MI at Wankhede Stadium, the hosts were out of the playoffs this season.

In an important match played today i.e. on 3rd May, Kolkata Knight Riders defeated Mumbai Indians by 24 runs at Wankhede Stadium, Mumbai. In this match, all the bowlers from Kolkata Knight Riders performed very well and played an important role in the victory of their team. Mumbai Indians failed to show good performance against Kolkata and due to this they had to face defeat.

Let us tell you, Kolkata Knight Riders, batting first against Mumbai, scored 169 runs after losing all the wickets. On behalf of the team, Venkatesh Iyer batted very well and played a match-winning inning of 70 runs in 52 balls with the help of six fours and three sixes. On behalf of the team, Suryakumar Yadav played a valuable inning of 56 runs in 35 balls with the help of six fours and two sixes, while Tim David contributed 24 runs.

Ishan Kishan failed to play a big innings in this match and was out after scoring 13 runs. Rohit Sharma scored 11 runs against Kolkata. For Kolkata Knight Riders, Mitchell Starc bowled lethally and took 4 wickets while Sunil Narine, Varun Chakraborty and Andre Russell took two wickets each.
