Indian Premier League 2024: Amidst the excitement of IPL 2024, Rajasthan Royals (RR) have signed Team India’s legendary off-spinner R Ashwin (R Ashwin) and Delhi Capitals (DC) captain Rishabh Pant (Rishabh Pant) has shared a video of their heart-touching reunion.

Actually, Rajasthan Royals (RR) and Delhi Capitals (DC) are going to face each other in the ninth match of the ongoing IPL 2024 on March 28 at the Sawai Mansingh Stadium in Jaipur. Players of both the teams are sweating profusely in Jaipur for this match, which also includes R Ashwin and Rishabh Pant.

R Ashwin and Rishabh Pant’s reunion went viral

Meanwhile, in a video shared by Rajasthan Royals (RR) on social media platform .

Rishabh Pant met RR captain Sanju Samson and opener Jos Buttler as he entered the stadium for the practice session. After which, as soon as Pant got ready to face the ball in the nets, the voice of RR senior spinner Ashwin echoed from the background, which was full of encouragement and confidence.

“Rishabh come on, Rishabh come on”

Ashwin instilled confidence in the young DC captain by saying, “Rishabh come on, Rishabh come on. Keep playing, friend.” Inspired by Ashwin’s words, the Indian wicketkeeper-batsman responded with a six with his bat. To which Ashwin said: “What a shot man. I gave you a little encouragement and you hit a six.”

Seeing this heart-touching moment, DC head coach Ricky Ponting couldn’t stop himself and jokingly said, “Please stand with Rishabh in the match too.” After which Pant came and met Ashwin. While sharing the video of this moment, RR wrote in the caption: ‘Over the years, Pant supported Ash. And today, that time has come…💗💙’
