The team has played 12 matches so far, out of which they have won four while Punjab has faced defeat in eight. Punjab Kings have eight points and the team is at the last position in the points table of IPL 2024.

After the match against Rajasthan Royals, the team will play its last match of this season against Sunrisers Hyderabad on May 19. Even though Punjab is out of the race for this season’s playoffs, it can spoil Sunrisers Hyderabad’s hopes of reaching the playoffs.
