He said that it is not that I have set a date that I will be out for three matches and then I will return whenever I am ready. It doesn’t all work out that way. I am not at a level that is good enough to ensure a place for someone else in the team.

Let us tell you that Maxwell has also clarified his decision to request to be left out of the RCB line-up for the match against Hyderabad. He said that this has nothing to do with the need to take a long break from the tournament. He just thought that he does not see his place in the best XI. And requested captain Faf du Plessis and coach Andy Flower to stay out and talked about giving a chance to some other player.
