IPL 2024: CSK bowlers showed their mettle in Dharamshala, PBKS batsmen failed to leave their mark.

Today i.e. on 5th May, in the best match of the Indian Premier League 2024, Chennai Super Kings defeated Punjab Kings by 28 runs at the Himachal Pradesh Cricket Association Stadium in Dharamshala. In this match, all the players from Chennai Super Kings performed very well and played an important role in the victory of their team. Talking about Punjab Kings, the team’s batsmen failed to bat well against Chennai due to which they had to face defeat.

In this match, Chennai Super Kings, batting first, scored 167 runs losing 9 wickets in 20 overs. The team had a good start against Punjab Kings but wickets kept falling at regular intervals in the middle overs. For Chennai, captain Ruturaj Gaikwad scored 32 runs in 21 balls with the help of 4 fours and 1 six.

Apart from Ruturaj Gaikwad, experienced all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja scored 43 runs in 26 balls with the help of 3 fours and 2 sixes while Daryl Mitchell contributed 30 runs. Moeen Ali scored 17 runs. For Punjab Kings, Rahul Chahar and Harshal Patel took 3 wickets each while Arshdeep Singh took two wickets. Captain Sam Curran took one wicket.

It is noteworthy that in the 21 T20 International matches played in the year 2024, the 30-year-old player has scored a total of 666 runs at a strike rate of 132.66. Under the captaincy of Babar, Pakistan had to be eliminated from the league stage in the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2024. So now cricket fans have been seen venting their anger on Babar.
