Let us tell you that in this match, Dhoni batted amazingly and played an unbeaten inning of 37* runs with the help of 4 fours and 3 sixes in 16 balls. Although, this innings of Dhoni could not give victory to Chennai, but Dhoni reduced the margin of defeat to 20 runs.

On the other hand, during this innings, Dhoni played a shot which he had played against Chaminda Vaas during his unbeaten 183* run innings on this ground in the year 2005. It is said that during this innings, Dhoni’s era had started in Indian cricket. Dhoni played this innings against Sri Lanka. So, during this innings, Dhoni played exactly the same shot against Delhi in the extra cover area.
