Klaasen hit a six on his first ball, then took a single on the second ball. After this, Rana turned the match by dismissing Shahbaz Nadeem and Heinrich Klaasen in the next three balls.
My heart beat faster…- Harshit Rana
In the end Kolkata Knight Riders won by 4 runs. Speaking on his match-winning performance, Harshit Rana said that it was the first time that the parents were in the stands and did not think of performing like that in front of them.
Rana (Harshit Rana) said in a video shared by IPL, ‘This was the first time that my parents had come to watch my match. Earlier, I thought that when they watch my match, I will not be able to perform well. This season, I was playing my first match and I wanted to show them the competition.
He further said, ‘My heart beat faster due to the expectations of the fans and there were not many runs to defend. I thought to myself that the worst that could happen was the match ending on that ball. However, if I can execute my plans the match will go deep.
