The excitement of IPL 2024 continues. Rajasthan Royals is the only team which has not faced defeat in any match so far. Rajasthan has won four out of four matches. Riyan Parag has made the most important contribution in the team’s victory. Currently, he remains in the race for Orange Cap with 185 runs. Meanwhile, the former Australian player has given a big statement about this young batsman. He said that last year he was very proud.

Former player Brad Hogg has given this big statement before the 24th match of the 17th season of IPL between Rajasthan Royals and Gujarat Titans. Brad Hogg claimed Ryan was a bit arrogant last year. But now he is under control, since then an old tweet of Ryan has remained in the news. In which he claimed to hit four sixes in one over.

Brad Hogg’s big statement regarding Riyan Parag-

Brad Hogg said,

“I feel very good when I see young Parag. He is the youngest player to score a half-century in the history of IPL. I like his energy and way of fielding. I think he’s really matured this year. “I think he had a little bit of an ego last year.”

he adds,

“I’m not insulting him by saying this, but I think he had a little bit of arrogance last year and still has that, but he’s in control. He believes in himself. Now he is more concerned about what he can do for the team than cementing his place in the team.”

Riyan Parag’s old tweet goes viral-

In fact, the 22-year-old batsman had claimed in a tweet last year that he can hit four sixes in an over in IPL 2023. However, Ryan could not do so. It is believed that Hogg has given this statement in the context of this tweet.
