Kumar Kushagra has so far played 19 first class and 23 List A matches for Jharkhand. His average is above 40 in first class while it is 46 in List A.

Delhi Capitals has issued a press release in which Kushagra has said, ‘I was batting with Rishabh Pant for the first time and he told me about many important things about the game. He was playing single handed shots and hitting sixes. He was playing the ball very well. I hope that I can win matches with him for Delhi Capitals.
