In this match, all the players from Sunrisers Hyderabad performed very well and played an important role in the victory of their team. Lucknow players failed to show good performance against Hyderabad.

In this match, Lucknow Super Giants, batting first, scored 165 runs losing four wickets in 20 overs. The team did not have such a good start against Hyderabad and they lost four important wickets for 66 runs within 12 overs. Quinton de Kock failed to bat well in this match and was out after scoring two runs. Marcus Stoinis also returned to the pavilion on a personal score of three runs.

Captain KL Rahul scored 29 runs in 33 balls with the help of 1 four and 1 six while Krunal Pandya returned to the pavilion after scoring 24 runs. However, after the fall of four wickets, Ayush Badoni and Nicholas Puran batted brilliantly and made an unbeaten partnership of 99 runs for the fifth wicket. While on one hand Ayush Badoni played a valuable inning of 55* runs with the help of 9 fours in 30 balls, Nicholas Puran scored 48* runs in 26 balls with the help of 6 fours and 1 six.

Both these batsmen did not spare any bowler of Sunrisers Hyderabad and hit hard against everyone. For Sunrisers Hyderabad, Bhuvneshwar Kumar took two wickets for 12 runs in four overs while captain Pat Cummins took one wicket.

Chasing the target, Sunrisers Hyderabad won the match within 10 overs. The team’s opening pair Travis Head and Abhishek Sharma made an unbeaten partnership of 167 runs for the first wicket. He won this match in just 9.4 overs. While on one hand Travis Head played an aggressive inning of 89* runs with the help of 8 fours and 8 sixes in 30 balls, Abhishek Sharma also contributed 75* runs.

Both these batsmen did not spare any bowler of Lucknow and hit hard against everyone. It was very important for Sunrisers Hyderabad to win this match and they gave a crushing defeat to Lucknow.
