The third match of IPL 2024 is being played between Kolkata Knight Riders and Sunrisers Hyderabad today at Eden Gardens, Kolkata. In the match, Sunrisers Hyderabad captain Pat Cummins won the toss and decided to bowl first. SRH bowlers proved the captain’s decision right and took 4 wickets of KKR at the score of just 51.

But Andre Russell had entered the field today determined to do something else. Batting brilliantly, he scored a half-century in just 20 balls. After the dismissal of Ramandeep Singh (35), Russell entered the field and hit sixes. He made Mayank Markande feel his presence at the crease by hitting three sixes in one over.

Russell’s stormy take KKR to 208

Rinku Singh supported him well and made a partnership of 81 runs for the seventh wicket. Rinku scored 23 runs with the help of 3 fours. T Natarajan was the most successful bowler for SRH, taking three wickets for 32 runs in a spell of 4 overs. Mayank Markande had two wickets in his name. Captain Pat Cummins got one wicket.
