IPL 2024 Orange and Purple Cap Update: The Qualifier-1 match of IPL 2024 was played between Sunrisers Hyderabad and Kolkata Knight Riders. KKR has secured a place in the final by winning by 8 wickets. There has been no change in the latest list of Orange Cap after this match.

Virat Kohli of Royal Challengers Bangalore is still on top. Talking about the latest list of Purple Cap, Sunrisers Hyderabad bowler T Natarajan has re-entered the top-5.

Royal Challengers Bangalore batsman Virat Kohli still tops the list with 708 runs in 14 matches. Chennai Super Kings captain Ruturaj Gaikwad (583) is at second place and Sunrisers Hyderabad’s Travis Head (533) is at third place. Whereas Rajasthan Royals’ Riyan Parag (531) is at fourth place and Gujarat Titans batsman (527) is at fifth place.

Let us tell you that in this match, host Sri Lanka has defeated New Zealand by three wickets. After winning the match, Sri Lanka has taken an unassailable 2-0 lead in the ODI series. Wicketkeeper Kushal Mendis played an important role in winning the match for Sri Lanka, who played a brilliant unbeaten inning of 74* runs in 102 balls in the match. ‘There is no place in your team’ Pakistani fans trolling Babar Azam during the second T20 match against Australia

The video trolling Azam is going viral very fast on social media. It is noteworthy that in the 21 T20 International matches played in the year 2024, the 30-year-old player has scored a total of 666 runs at a strike rate of 132.66. Under the captaincy of Babar, Pakistan had to be eliminated from the league stage in the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2024. So now cricket fans have been seen venting their anger on Babar. After a poor performance in the first Test match against England, the team management decided to drop Babar. In place of Babar, Kamran Ghulam was included in the team, who confirmed his place in the Test team by scoring a century in his debut match. This is not a good sign for Babar Azam in red ball cricket. On the other hand, apart from Test, Babar’s bat is not working in T20 also. Babar has been able to score only 6 runs in the two T20 matches played against Australia. So in the ODI series that ended before the T20 series, Babar’s performance was 37, 15* and 28* runs. Apart from this, Babar has also not been included in the Pakistani team for the upcoming white series against Zimbabwe. Now that the Champions Trophy 2025 is very close, and Babar not being able to perform for the Pakistani team in the white ball format, it may become a headache for the PCB in the future.
