We are happy. Now CSK is all set to retain MS Dhoni as an uncapped player. Apart from this, if some reports are to be believed then Ravindra Jadeja will be the top retention of this franchise followed by Rituraj Gaikwad and then Mathisha Pathirana. That means Jadeja will be at number one while Rituraj will be at second and Pathirana will be at number three among the players to be retained. It is also reported that this wicketkeeper-batsman will be kept in the uncapped category for Rs 4 crore. Recently BCCI has re-implemented this rule, under which players who have not played international cricket for 5 years can be retained in the team as uncapped players. It is now completely clear that Ravindra Jadeja will be the first retention of Chennai, followed by Rituraj Gaikwad. Mathesa Pathirana No. 3 has agreed to retention.
