IPL 2024 Latest Points Table: Two great matches were played in IPL 2024 on 14 April. In the first match, Kolkata Knight Riders defeated Lucknow Super Giants by 8 wickets. In the second match, Chennai Super Kings defeated Mumbai Indians by 20 runs. After these two matches, some changes have been seen in the points table. Rajasthan Royals are still in first place with five wins and 10 points in 6 matches.

After the win against LSG, Kolkata Knight Riders are still in second place with 8 points. But after the defeat, Lucknow Super Giants have slipped one place to fifth place with 6 points. After the defeat of Lucknow, Sunrisers Hyderabad gained and the team is currently in fourth place with 6 points. After the win against MI, Chennai Super Kings are at third position with 8 points, while on the other hand, Mumbai Indians have slipped one place to 8th position with 4 points.

IPL 2024: Status of matches 28 and 29

The 28th match of IPL 2024 was played between Kolkata Knight Riders and Lucknow Super Giants at Eden Gardens. Batting first, Lucknow scored 161 runs at the loss of 7 wickets. In response, KKR chased the target with 26 balls remaining and won by 8 wickets. Phil Salt won the title of Player of the Match for Kolkata by playing the highest innings of 89* runs in 47 balls.

The 29th match was played between Mumbai Indians and Chennai Super Kings. Batting first, CSK scored 206 runs at the loss of 4 wickets. In reply, Mumbai Indians could only score 186 runs at the loss of 6 wickets while chasing the target, and CSK won by 20 runs. Rohit Sharma played an unbeaten inning of 105 runs in 63 balls for Mumbai Indians.
