Today i.e. on 12th April, in a spectacular match played at Ekana Cricket Stadium in Lucknow, Delhi Capitals defeated Lucknow Super Giants by 6 wickets. In this match, all the players from Delhi Capitals performed very well and played an important role in the victory of their team. Lucknow players failed to show good performance and hence lost the match.

Batting first, Lucknow Super Giants scored 167 runs losing 7 wickets in 20 overs. Young batsman Ayush Badoni batted very well for the Lucknow team and played a valuable unbeaten inning of 55 runs with the help of 5 fours and 1 six in 35 balls for his team. Let us tell you, at one time Lucknow had lost its 7 wickets for 94 runs in 13 overs.

However, after this Ayush Badoni and Arshad Khan batted very well and made an important partnership of 73 runs for the eighth wicket. Apart from Ayush Badoni, captain KL Rahul played an inning of 39 runs while Arshad Khan contributed 20* runs. For Delhi Capitals, Kuldeep Yadav took three wickets for 20 runs in four overs while Khalil Ahmed took two wickets for 41 runs in four overs. Ishant Sharma and Mukesh Yadav took one cricket hit each.

Delhi team, which came to chase the target, had a very bad start and their first wicket fell on 24 runs. David Warner failed to bat well against Lucknow and returned to the pavilion after scoring 8 runs. Prithvi Shaw played an important inning of 32 runs while playing for Delhi Capitals. On behalf of the Delhi team, Jack Fraser-McGurk batted brilliantly and played a match-winning inning of 55 runs with the help of 2 fours and 5 sixes in 35 balls.

He did not spare any Lucknow bowler and hit hard against all of them. Rishabh Pant also batted very well for his team and played a brilliant inning of 41 runs. For Lucknow, Ravi Bishnoi took two wickets for 25 runs in four overs.

It is noteworthy that during IPL 2024, Deshpande was one of the important fast bowlers of the CSK camp. Captain Ruturaj Gaikwad handed the ball to Deshpande several times in the last overs and he remained true to his captain’s decision. In the last season of IPL, Tushar took 17 wickets in 13 matches played for five-time champion CSK, while Tushar played an important role in making Chennai the champion in the year 2023. This season, Tushar had taken 23 wickets in 16 matches played.
