In the ongoing season of IPL, Mumbai Indians captain Hardik Pandya has shared a video on his official Instagram account. Hardik’s confidence is visible in this video. In the video, Hardik does not seem worried at all, even after the team is out of the IPL playoff race.

So, cricket fans are seen reacting quickly on this video of Hardik. It is noteworthy that in the ongoing season of IPL, five-time champion Mumbai Indians became the first team to be eliminated from the playoff race. Also, before the start of the season, Mumbai team management had appointed Hardik Pandya as the new captain of the team in place of Rohit Sharma.

But this decision of the team has not been of much use to them. Under the captaincy of Hardik, who was traded from Gujarat Titans, Mumbai was able to win only 4 out of 14 matches played in the ongoing IPL season, while it had to face defeat in 10 matches.

Also, the fans were not happy when Hardik was made the captain in place of Rohit. Whenever Hardik Pandya went to the field during the toss or batting, the fans used to welcome him with boos. However, now Hardik will be seen playing for the Indian cricket team in the upcoming T20 World Cup 2024. All-rounder Pandya has also been given the responsibility of vice-captain in Team India.

Well, now it will be worth watching how Hardik and the Indian team are going to perform in the upcoming T20 World Cup. It is noteworthy that Team India will start its title campaign in the T20 World Cup with the match against Ireland on June 5.

SA20 2025: Paarl Royals appointed Trevor Penney as head coach, Kumar Sangakkara expressed happiness

The appointment of Trevor Penny follows his success as head coach of the Barbados Royals in the Caribbean Premier League. Under the captaincy of David Miller, Paarl Royals made it to the playoffs in both the last seasons, but the team could not win the trophy. Paarl Royals is busy preparing for the upcoming season. Meanwhile, the franchise has appointed Trevor Penny as the new head coach. Penny’s appointment follows his success as head coach of the Barbados Royals in the Caribbean Premier League. Under Penny’s guidance, the Barbados Royals finished runner-up in 2022, but the team failed to qualify for the playoffs in 2023. At the same time, again in the 2024 season, the team reached Qualifier-2. Former Paarl Royals coach Shane Bond is now on a different mission Kumar Sangakkara informed that former Paarl Royals coach Shane Bond will now focus his attention on preparing for the IPL 2025 mega auction with Rajasthan Royals. The strategic change will allow Bond to spend more time in India over the next few months as the team’s bowling coach and work closely with recently appointed head coach Rahul Dravid and batting coach Vikram Rathor.
